Introduction
In the bustling district of Mirzapur, Mohammad Gufran has successfully established New Happy Mobile Shop as a reliable destination for both mobile repairs and essential digital services. This article explores how Gufran combined technical skill and customer-focused services to build a thriving local business.
A Busy Day at New Happy Mobile Shop
New Happy Mobile Shop and Shop Centre in Mirzapur district is known for its fast and practical transactions. Customers frequently visit with requests such as cracked phone screen repairs, document printouts, and inquiries on the requirements for PAN card applications.
Behind the counter, Mohammad Gufran manages phone repairs alongside essential paperwork, efficiently assisting customers by skillfully balancing technical and administrative tasks.
A One-Stop Shop for Tech and Paperwork
Beyond mobile repairs, Gufran’s shop provides a variety of online services including issuing income and residence certificates, applying for PAN cards, ration card services, voter ID registration, and other government-related digital documentation.
The most common services requested at the shop are income and residence certificates, PAN cards, voter IDs, and mobile phone repairs. This diverse service offering sustains a steady flow of business throughout the week.
Combining mobile repair with document-related services in one location meets the consistent needs of Mirzapur’s local community, forming the foundation of Gufran’s steady business.
From Working for Others to Running His Own Shop
Mohammad Gufran did not pursue long academic training but gained skills through hands-on experience. Over several years, he worked at a Common Service Centre (CSC) and performed mobile repairs, which laid the groundwork for starting his own venture.
Recognizing that integrating mobile repair and document services would satisfy local demand, he opened New Happy Mobile Shop about nine months ago after six years in the field.
Reflecting on his transition, Gufran remarks, “Earlier I was working at someone else’s shop, now it is better.” He highlights that running his own business has brought increased income and greater stability.
Getting Support and Learning the Business
Approximately seven months ago, Gufran learned about the Mukhyamantri Yuva Udyami Vikas Abhiyan (CM YUVA) Yojana through a text message and applied successfully. He received an interest-free loan of five lakh rupees, which he used primarily to establish and organize the shop properly.
Though there were routine formalities in obtaining the loan, Gufran considers it a beneficial option for new entrepreneurs seeking financial support without prolonged savings periods.
Plans for Growth and Keeping Customers Happy
Currently operating the shop alone, Gufran manages all phone repairs and online documentation personally. With business growth, he plans to hire additional staff to help manage different tasks more effectively.
He assesses success by steady customer visits, repeat business, and the satisfaction derived from controlling his schedule and income.
The first months focused on establishing the essentials and adapting to independent work. Now, with a stable foundation in place, Gufran emphasizes consistent daily operations as a testament to turning a choice made during uncertain times into a dependable routine.
