Mantraraj Paliwal, the 24-year-old new entrepreneur and travel enthusiast from Udaipur, is setting milestones in his professional career.

Mantraraj Paliwal was born in Nathdwara, Rajsamand, on January 27, 1997. He was born to the Miraj Group’s CMD, Mr. Madan Paliwal, a famous businessman. As the son of a business magnate, he was always prejudiced by his father’s struggle and success story.

He completed his BBA after high school and gained experience in human resources.    

After finishing his education, he suddenly hopped onto his father’s business, which he was very keen to manage. For Mantraraj, his father was always his guide. After becoming the vice chairman of Miraj Group, he started committing most of his time to the development of the company.

Business HISTORY

Started out in 1987 by Founder and Chairman Madan Paliwal (the man behind the success of Miraj Group), the company originally dealt with tobacco in India, later expanding its business into international segments such as printing, packaging, stationery, retail, entertainment, and FMCG.

Miraj started as a tobacco brand in India in 1987, with major companies in the states of Rajasthan, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Haryana, Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Orissa, and Karnataka.

In 2001, the group recognized Miraj Multicolor Pvt. Ltd. as a professional in printing, packaging, and stationery products.

Subsequently, Miraj Retails, a loyal FMCG sister concern, was launched, introducing products like tea, washing soaps, toasts, snacks, and sweets under the brand name Miraj, and winning the 2018 award for “Excellence in Retail Business.”

In 2005, the group recognized “Miraj Pipes & Fittings Pvt. Ltd.,” a minor in pipes and fittings.

Later, the group launched music and filmmaking through Miraj Entertainment Ltd. It next started a cinema division below its subsidiary, Miraj Entertainment Ltd., as Miraj Cinemas. The company is also a film producer, producing “ Destiny of Dance,” concentrating on the upmarket transgender community and stepping into mainstream cinema in India by co-producing the movie “Tell Me O Kkhuda” with Hema Malini, a veteran actress in Indian cinema.

CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY

The Miraj Group has made charitable contributions in the areas of environment, animal husbandry and welfare, construction and maintenance of public organizations, and religious community campaigning.

Established in 2001, “Santkripa Sanatan Sansthan” is a non-profit trust of the Miraj Group that guards and rears cows. The trust houses more than 1200 cows and is responsible for the cow wellbeing program, such as regular health and medical check-ups, vaccinations for cattle, cattle camps, etc.

Shri Deepchand Paliwal Senior Secondary School, Nathdwara, and Shreeji Public School in Nathdwara are two enlightening institutes recognized by the Miraj Group.

As part of the city beautification program, the city has established and taken responsibility for Chetak Circle, located in the center of Udaipur, Rajasthan. Similarly, Miraj Group has also established RNT Medical College Garden, MB Hospital Garden, T.B. Hospital Garden, Udaipur Airport Garden, etc. 

At Nathdwara, a 351-foot (107-meter) tall statue of Lord Shiva is being built. R-footman, a 10-meter-high Miraj Group structure, used creativity to build the world’s biggest Shiva statue at Nathdwara.  Shree Morari Bapu placed the substance stone for this project on a mountain at Ganesh Tekri on August 18, 2012. The statue will be finished by the end of 2019. It will be the highest statue of Lord Shiva in the world (100 feet taller than the Statue of Liberty).

Miraj Developers Pvt. Ltd. is constructing a 40-meter-tall gateway to Nathdwara, Rajasthan, and a contemporary bus stand at Nathdwara, which is predicted to be finished by the end of 2019.
